Computer Crime

Ed Carter

Cybercrime is an increasingly serious problem that raises difficult issues of international crime and international cooperation. Even apart from the prosecution of cybercrime, lawyers need to understand this complex problem to address the concerns of individual and businesses that are victims of cybercrime. This course introduces the different types of cybercrime and explains how to identify cybercriminal activity and how companies and law enforcement are responding to these crimes.  It provides A PRACTICAL FOUNDATION FOR DETERMINING how to respond to cybercrime.  It extends and elaborates the issues explored in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
